Rotary Strive Scholarship Race 

Kowalski's Strive 10 Miler / 5K

Course is around White Bear Lake

$25 before Oct 27, $35 Race Day and after Oct 27 (Cash / Check Only)

This race course starts at Lion's Park (across the street from Kowalski's) and circles beautiful White Bear Lake. The course head south then east on South Shore Blvd, after running next to the lake and homes on the lake you enter Birchwood Village, then Mahtomedi, Dellwood, White Bear Township.  The last few miles are near flat and on an asphalt path that starts at Ramsey County White Bear Lake Park, then through West Park as you follow Lake Ave through Matoska Park, and continue along Lake Ave with a beautiful view of the Lake. As you make the turn at Lake and Hwy 96 you will enter the commercial bay and then finish at Lion’s Park.

11:00 AM Check In / Race Day Registration Opens (Cash / Check only). 
Please plan on being checked in by 11:45. 

Noon Start of the 10 Miler
12:03 Start of the 5K

10 milers goes counter clockwise around White Bear Lake.  Rotary volunteers are on the course to guide the runners.  Three water stops.

5K goes north then east on Lake Ave to the turn around (water stop).

Both courses finish at Lions Park.  Click HERE for PDF file of the course. Timing is by Rotary Volunteers using Websocer (no chip timing).

Proceeds of this race benefit the Strive Scholarship program.  Strive funds several scholarships to be used at Century College and other post-secondary institutions.  Winners of these scholarships are students enrolled in the Strive programs at White Bear Lake Area High School and Area Learning Center who improve their cumulative GPA the most over the course of their senior year.
