Watch for more information, White Bear Lake BEAR’ly Open – Golf on Ice winter fun event. Join us in on February 4 & 5 as we continue our mission to raise money for the White Bear Area Food Shelf on frozen White Bear Lake. A realistic golf course, complete with real pine trees, challenging holes and actual greens with flags make it a great way to have fun, get out of the house, and raise money for The Food Shelf. The Community Dance on Friday night, Feb. 3 will once again feature local favorite the “Wild Cat Combo”, playing the best of classic rock and roll.

Much of the course in on the Mark Sather Trail paved path along White Bear Lake.  5K is out and back, flat and fast.  5 mile is also flat on the paved path and neighborhood streets.  Registration can include an event T-shirt.  Proceeds of the race support the White Bear Lake Rotary Club Strive Scholarship.

MINNOW TANK PROGRAM WBL ROTARY AND WILLOW LANE ELEMENTARY MINNOW TANK PROGRAM IS RETURING FOR YEAR #2 There is a need for coaches, judges and sponsors for this program beginning on April 17th. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with young third grade students and to spend time in a school that has the most diverse population in the district. BEARS EXPLORE OUTDOORS, 5:30—8 p.m. June 2 at Bald Eagle Regional Park. Volunteers are needed to help young people and families who might not get the chance to experience outdoors. Community Services Team Presents a great service opportunity:

What and Where:  Gardening and weeding starting at the Rotary monument on Lake and Clark Ave, and working our way towards the Library.  

When:  This Saturday, June 24 from 8 to 10 AM (to beat the worst of the heat);  come for one or two hours, whatever your schedule allows.  

Bring:  Garden gloves and tools; knee pads; clippers; etc.  I'll bring bags for the weeds.

Available:  Water and Donuts or cookies
