Several #whitebearlake Rotarians met this afternoon near downtown White Bear Lake at Matoska Park, where with the help of the city it erected a Peace Pole (worldpeace.org). The timing is excellent, as we met today with young visitors from #ukraine who are staying and engaging in our area as part of a leadership trip. Our club and host families are heavily involved in supporting this great group, which is in need of some peace in their lives. Meeting at the pole is a good reminder of that common hope of humanity.
